Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza
The place I have recommended the MOST is Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza. Whenever I have friends in town, this place is definitely on our list of eats.
On top of having a great selection of pizzas, they have amazing appetizers. Their wings are exceptional. The two flavors they offer are Lemoncello and Calabrian. If you’re looking for a rich and spicy red wing sauce (pictured), try the Calabrian wings with their cooling parmesan dip (fancy ranch). For a more mild but definitely flavorful option, the Lemoncello wings don’t disappoint.
What you wouldn’t expect from a pizza place is good soup. However, year round, Marco’s alternates their signature soups. They offer an amazing butternut squash (pictured), creamy tomato, white bean and kale, and an Italian wedding soup that is my hubby’s favorite!
The hubs and I love a crispier bottom to our pizza so we order ours “well done'“ and typically split a half a pepperoni and meatball pizza. We love this pizza so much we usually eat at Marco’s once a week at least.
